A Concealer for Acne Sufferers

Optimized-dermablend

If you’re prone to acne breakouts, or suffer the aftermath of them (scarring) then I have just the concealer for  you. I recently started seeing a new fantastic dermatologist – Dr Emma Wedgeworth – who emailed me an incredibly informative list of makeup that I should be wearing (and no there wasn’t a single Bareminerals foundation on there), instead along with a number of foundations that I already own (Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere) she highly recommended the Vichy dermablend range as it’s totally non comedogenic and wont block the skin further.

I dug around in my base drawer (a drawer dedicated to products like foundations and concealers) and found my Vichy Dermablend concealer stick and started to use it and was amazed at the creamy but matte coverage and the lasting power of the stuff. It blends beautifully onto scars and new breakouts and doesn’t budge (even without powder). I also re-found my Vichy Dermablend Foundation Stick and have been loving using that as well, I think it may even be time to try and get hold of the liquid foundation (although I highly doubt anything can replace my beloved Tarte Amazonian Clay) to add to my new growing Vichy family. If you suffer from sensitive/acne prone or just skin that needs a bit of a breather and are a fan of full coverage yet not cakey products then I highly urge you to trot on down to Boots to see what all the fuss is about for yourself.

    Hi,

I am currently using a different concealer stick but I don’t think it helps me with my acne scarring, it just makes my face oily after hours of exposure to the sun. I will try using Vichy Dermablend concealer stick and I hope this is the product I’ve been looking for to help me with my scarring.
