Blush-ing

Blush is one of my favourite hues, especially at this transitional time of year. A little less show stopping than white, and not as barbie as pink (I actually can’t remember the last time I wore a pink item), it’s just ideal. Feminine and chic without being over the top. Last Saturday evening I wore this blush midi dress from Missguided, it’s a bit of a battle to squeeze into it as the fabric is incredible thick and not very stretchy, but once on it hugs everywhere in just the right place. I gave my hair a natural wave, paired it with my mum’s shoes and then toughened the look up with my dark grey Chanel Boy.

Would you be tempted to go blush this weekend?

I’m timid with blush tones because I don’t have that luxurious tan of yours. Nope, you’re talking to albino lady over here! So, I’m careful to avoid running the risk of being washed out. What I need though? Those Valentino heals. I don’t care if they wash me out — so fab! haha

Maybe try warmer nude tones instead like camel or taupe?
