Easter Inertia

How has Easter been and gone? I’ve felt thoroughly unproductive this weekend and taken the last few days to switch off and hang around in sweats eating chocolate and chips. However, now that we are gearing up towards the end of the long weekend I’m looking forward to the days ahead and sinking my teeth back into some work. However, despite all my procrastination and Woody Allen watching (Midnight in Paris will always be my number 1), I did manage to get dressed and shoot this outfit. It felt Easter inspired and was both Spring appropriate and cosy at the same time. A cosy jumper tucked into a printed skirt is one of my go-to looks and has been since I was around 14. I love how you can have your legs out but still stay warm at the same time, I paired this gingham H&M skirt with a cosy knit, Isabel Marant booties and this new bucket/basket bag from Zara. I added a puffer jacket to complete the look which you may think looks odd but I think strangely works and upped the ante on the whole warmth factor (asides from the extra lbs from all the chocolate)

How has your Easter weekend been?

Oh, I’m so into that skirt. Very flattering on your figure, too 🙂 Had a very nice Easter weekend, wouldn’t mind another few days off though, hehe
