Euro Trip – Outfit breakdown

A few weeks ago I went on a mini Eurotrip weekend – three countries in three days and only a small (shared) mini carry on style piece of luggage. I knew the weather in Belgium, Germany and France was going to be hot so luckily I knew I could survive on a minimal amount of layers, however I still put some thought into my outfits so wanted to share my lewks from the trips with a short summary behind them and more detail!

This dress ticks so many boxes – off the shoulder, comfy, crease proof and black (to hide a myriad of stains). This was the ideal dress to travel in as I didn’t feel in the slightest bit uncomfortable and knew it would look chic on our lunch stop in Bruges. I paired it with my Zara basket bag (similar linked below), simple tan espadrilles which I picked up last Summer in Rome after my Toms got drenched in torrential rain in Siena, simple round framed sunglasses which have been a favourite of mine for the past two years and a simple bun. I love throwing my hair out of my face and often find it’s the quickest way of looking chic and polished with zero effort.

The 34 degree heat lewk:

Germany was boiling so the less clothes the better. I wore my favourite vintage Levi cut offs which I picked up in LA last year with this simple black camisole from Nobody’s Child. A classic CHANEL bag pulls in even the most basic of outfits and makes it look a tad chicer (even when paired with a greasy bun).

The travel part deux lewk:

This playsuit from H&M was a no brainer to pack, uber comfy, chic china print and again lightweight so ideal for scorching weather. I paired my favourite tan belt to clinch (quite literally) the look together and my all time favourite Celine sunglasses. These sunglasses make me at least 35% more attractive than I am, they are magic. If you don’t own a pair of Celine shades then I urge you to rectify that fact ASAP (and no dupes are not good enough, the cut just aren’t the same).

The wannabe Jane Birkin lewk:

Dinner in Paris over Men’s Fashion Week at one of the hippest spots (and my favourite restaurant) in town Hotel Costes called for an outing of my newly purchased Missguided dress (linked below), I wanted to dress it down so wore a pair of Isabel Marant sandals which I bought on the outnet a few years ago. My classic CHANEL once again finished the lewk off.

Sundazed in Paree lewk:

My final lewk and perhaps my favourite was this gingham number by Nobody’s Child (sadly sold out but similar below), the gingham made me feel incredibly chic yet also Sunday appropriate, we had a lovely walk all throughout Paris along the Seine and up to my favourite lunch spot Ralph’s.

Which is your favourite of the outfits? I’m heading off to the South of France in a few weeks, would you be interested in a similar post from holiday or perhaps a lookbook video? Let me know!

I love the black dress and the playsuit – both so chic! I’m envious of your Europe trip, it looks like you visited some gorgeous places.

I’d definitely be keen to see a lookbook video or post! I’d also be keen to see a Q+A if ever you’d do more 🙂 Have a lovely weekend xxx
