I found the whole beauty box fad a little bit jaded before it had even taken off. The idea of a load of sample size products just didn’t fill me with as much excitement as it should, to me it just seemed like a whole lot of clutter and a potential skin reaction due to trying too many different things.
However, when I first heard about My Little Box -a Parisienne founded company that not only focuses on dinky beauty samples but cute accessories as well, I listened up. My Little Box has over 60,000 subscribers in France and has just launched here in London. Each month you receive a themed box (e.g back to school, Parisienne etc) which includes a notebook, two to three beauty samples (from some incredible brands including Laura Mercier, Nuxe and Caudalie to name just a few) and a few little accessories including mini leather oyster card holders, laptop cases, friendship bracelets and so on. It really is the chicest box I’ve ever come across and it’s well worth checking out. I think purchasing a subscription for a friend for their next birthday would be the coolest gift.
