No Black Anything

For the longest time the fashion world has stuck to a neutrals only colour palette. This trickled down onto the high street pretty quickly (ty Zara) and kind of stayed. If you scroll through the majority of Instagram neutrals run supreme – black, camel, white, beige and grey all look fantastic with a VSCO filter. However, last Saturday I felt like injecting some much needed colour into my London Fashion Week look for the JW Anderson show. Colour has been hot for a few seasons now and is slowly working its way down from super high end to the more accessible. There’s just something so mood boosting about a pop of hibiscus, pink or sky blue that can instantly brighten even the most dismal of days.

The top is by one of my latest label loves – Mochi, the bag is by French leather brand Delage (oh so chic and not a logo in sight) and my jeans (my current favourite pair) are no other than H&M, I completed my outfit with this tan tailored coat by Storets, boots from Zara (old I’m afraid – circa Sumemr 2015)  and sunnies from Forever 21! Oh and this lewk made it into Vogue streetstyle -aghhh!

This is amazing! Makes me want to try to wear my more summery and feminine tops with my more straight line coats. 🙂
