The weather was particularly capricious – beautiful warm golden sun one minute, biblical rain the next, gail force winds followed by temperatures plummeting to those more likely found in early November and then back again to the warm Spring sunshine. I had a very busy day yesterday with back to back appointments and meetings and so needed to wear something comfortable, warm yet still Spring appropriate as I’m loathe to put my Winter coat on after mid-April.
I opted for this black loose fitting top with a criss cross lattice neck detail from Zara (I’ve found an even nicer and cheaper version – linked below), my off white skinny Topshop Leigh jeans, these H&M plimsolls that everyone always thinks are Lanvin, my Chloe esque Forever 21 bag, Dior sunglasses and then to keep me warm, this gorgeous beige and black leather trim Maje hooded jacket/coat that I picked up in the Summer sale last July. I felt warm enough, Spring friendly but still comfortable and able to run from one meeting to another!
