Pre Spring Picks

I’ve noticed myself falling into an every day makeup routine over the last few weeks, I’ve been gravitating to a few products and I think it’s to do with the change in season that is slowly happening. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still chilly, but the slightly longer and sunnier days have had me reaching for a slightly lighter makeup look.

I’ve been using Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Fatal religiously as it’s such a gorgeous lilac, it’s unexpected yet falls into a ‘neutrals’ category – it’s not crazy out there. I’ve been pairing it with the Kiko shadow stick in 06 under my eyes for a slightly lighter day time take on the smokey eye. I’ve been of course using my Tom Ford brow and eyeliner sculpting pens to define my look, but using a lighter hand so that it looks more natural. I’ve completed the look with one of the Clarins Instant Light Perfector Balms in 02 – a nourishing peachy pink which looks stunning when paired over Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk pencil. What slight changes have you been doing to your daily makeup routine to pave the way for Spring?
