Pre Wedding Water Challenge

Optimized-water

Well that’s a tongue twister of a blog title isn’t it?

After having had my hen over last weekend and drinking and eating far too many sugary substances, I had a pretty nasty breakout. To be honest it was to be expected, but still, I’m now terrified about having one before the wedding. I have a bridal beauty video coming up on my YouTube channel coming up all about the skincare steps I’m taking, however, one point that I didn’t dwell on in the video and one that I find really makes the miraculous difference – water.

When I make a concerted effort to drink recommended amount for women (2.2 litres btdubs) I can definitely see a difference in my skin. Cutting out the crap is only part one, to see a serious glow and an increased turnover in blemishes then water is your best friend. So with 15 days to go until the big weekend I’m going to be drinking 2.2 litres every day which is roughly 9 glasses. I’m fully aware that I’m going to be spending the majority of that time running to find a loo (hands up who else has tiny bladders!?), but who cares? My skin will hopefully reap the rewards and I can’t wait. I also find that another positive of drinking plenty of water is that I snack less as I’m less “hungry”. When your body is telling you that it’s hungry (and you’ve eaten within the last hour or so) its more often than not that it is thirsty and needs a lovely glass of water. So let’s hear it for water – it’s cheap, effective, leaves skin blemish free, hydrated and glowing and you can get it from pretty much anywhere.

Good luck with the water and your skin!! Try not to lose any more weight though; you’re super skinny already and a couple of my friends have ended up looking too gaunt on their wedding day; one even had to have her dress taken in the day before!!

I tried my best not to but I did lose a little towards the end – stress and excitement!

      It’s such a pain isn’t it! Luckily I think I succeeded 🙂
