There are only two fragrances that I’d ever wear on an evening out – whether it be for drinks, dinner, party or all three. If I’m heading out past sundown then I’ll either be spritzed in Chanel No 4 Eau Premiere or Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille.
Chanel no 5 Eau Premiere has a lighter sexiness to it than its original, it’s No 5 for a younger generation, gone are the heavy notes that linger and instead a lightness that smells a little more care free. It’s truly sensual and I feel so special when I spray it just before I head out the door. My second evening favourite is also a day time favourite as well – Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille is musky, warm, deeply sensual and rakes in the complements. It’s one of those fragrances that you just want to deeply inhale – it’s that good. I’m a massive vanilla fan though, so if you’re not it may not take your fancy.
Tonight I’ll most likely be watching a movie with a takeaway, however the next evening I have out you can bet that I’ll be doused in either or both of these!
