When I picked up these Topshop dungarees last week I had a million different ideas as to how I would style them, and I got to utilise at least two of those ideas on Saturday. On Saturday morning I had my first ever lie in…well my first lie in since the day after our wedding…well I still woke up from 7am but then went back to bed at 8:30 and then didn’t wake up until 10:30 – does that count as a lie in? In my book it does! After that glorious affair I popped out for a late breakfast with Amelia to one of my favourite places – La Bottega. They serve the best almond milk lattes and mouth watering freshly baked croissants. I slung on the dungarees with this bardot breton striped top from Miss Selfridge and a pair of white converse.
After our catch up and coffee I raced home and decided to pop on my Topshop fedora and my new babies – these Chloe Susanna dupes from Jessica Buurman – aren’t they gorgeous!? I then headed out for Pret a Port -Tea at the Berkeley hotel with Antipodes Skincare. I’m already a huge fan of their Manuka Honey Aura Mask and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know Elizabeth – the founder. I have quite a few new products to try from the range so I’m excited to report back!
The dungarees were perfect for a dressed down casual morning coffee and for a more dressed up afternoon tea event. Make sure to go a size up than you usually would with your jeans so they don’t feel too snug!
