Summer Body Prep – Gimmick or Life Changing?

With Summer holidays fast approaching my mind has turned to prepping for bikini season. I was sent a few things over the past few months with their aim being to help get me as bikini ready as possible. I’m always quite skeptical of any product that claims to rid cellulite or help you lose weight, but I thought I’d give them a go and give you my honest feedback.

Firstly let’s discuss Frank Body, this is what their bio says on their site “I’m an Australian made coffee-based skincare range that targets cellulite, stretch marks and other skin conditions to leave your skin feeling soft and supple.” So far, so interesting – a coffee based scrub with big claims. I hopped in the shower and gingerly applied what looked to me like a nice hunk of dirt fresh from the garden – the one I tried was cocoa and coffee and smelt like a delicious mocha. I applied it in circular motions focussing on my thighs and booty, I then made sure to thoroughly rinse as WARNING this stuff is duuuurty. After a good thorough shower I hopped out and was instantly struck with how unbelievable smooth my skin felt – I’ve used a lot of scrubs in the past but none that had me stop and go “woah”. My skin was baby smooth and later on that day when my mum grabbed my arm to tell me something even she exclaimed how soft they felt. Now, onto the bottom – it did indeed feel a little more taut, I think with continued use once a week I do feel like the motion and the caffeine stimulated from the coffee beans could help keep things from gravity’s evil plan. This is a huge thumbs up from me, and I now want to try all the other variations and make sure to never be without a pack of Frank Bod in my shower. I’ve also heard it’s amazing for problem skin when used on the face

Later this week I’m going to tell you about Elle Macpherson’s Super Elixir supplement!

I’ve heard so many good things about Frank Body – I’m glad to hear that it lives up to the hype! Although I am put off a little by coffee scrubs as like you said, they leave the shower a MESS.

I’m so very much looking forward to your Super Elixir review – I see it everywhere and I keep wondering whether to give in and buy it. It’s intriguing, it sounds like a magic potion. I’m only willing to pay $100 for a little sachet if I wake up looking like Elle Macpherson 😛

I hope we get to meet soon.

I love the idea (and the packaging) behind this brand! However, I cannot help but remember an article on Into the Gloss about an editor’s plumber’s stunned face when he saw that her shower was clogged by coffee grounds. 😉
Looking forward to your Super Elixir review.
Have a nice day Tijan! XX

Will give this a try. I love your brutal honesty about things because I am usually so skeptical as well! haha

Me too! I appreciate that Tijan is an unabashed skeptic.
