Top 3 London Facials

Struggling with my skin, living in London and having a dedicated space where I write about all things beauty and fashion means that I have had my fair share of some of the best facials in the capital. Today I thought I’d whittle it down to my top three and who they are best for depending on what your complexion is needing.

Liberty Omorovicza Facial – From £60 for 60 minutes

Perusing the Liberty beauty hall is hands down one of my favourite things to do in London, they seem to always have the best edit of brands and products around from the well known like NARS to the lesser known and uber chic  Byredo and Hungarian skincare Omorovicza. A few weeks ago I rocked up to the counter to experience their deep cleansing facial and was quickly ushered into a therapy room upstairs that felt tucked away and almost secretive – it was pure bliss and calm and you’d never think you were a mere stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of the shop floor. My therapist removed my makeup, double cleansed, toned, did a few extractions (always necessary with my skin) a beautiful deep cleansing mask followed by one of the most incredible facial massages I’ve ever experienced. The Hungarian facial massage has to be experienced to be believed, I felt so calm and relaxed that I almost drifted off. She then finished the facial off with some Omorovicza BB cream, I was so shocked by my appearance when she handed me the mirror – my skin was peachy perfect and positively glowing, I know I’m only twenty five, but I swear I felt even more lifted and sculpted than before. The results lasted pretty well for the remainder of the week. I’d say that this facial is perfect for a working girl or for someone nearby in the area needing a pamper session pre evening out, I felt red carpet levels of glowy post treatment and was almost disappointed to just be heading home for the evening. They get super booked up in advance so make sure to book ahead!

Lucia at Knightsbridge Nail & Beauty

If you’re on the hunt for the best aesthetician for extractions in London then look no further than Lucia at Knightsbridge Nail and Beauty, she uses Guinot products but to be honest she could probably use Neutrogena and be just as good. Her hands are magic and whenever I’m breaking out I make sure I pop in to see her and leave with clear skin with no lumps or bumps in sight. If you book in with her please let her know that I sent you!

Harrods La Mer Cleanse and Tone – £50 redeemable against products

Now here’s one for the savvy shopper – Harrods offers mini Creme De La Mer facials for a £50 booking fee which is redeemable against your favourite La Mer products. The treatment includes a double cleanse, tone, mask and massage (including a lovely hand one too with gorgeous hand cream) and lasts roughtly 30- 40 minutes. The therapist chose products specifically for my skin, I was particularly impressed with the Concentrate and the eye cream which left my dark circles looking almost non existent. This isn’t your full blown facial, the treatment room is literally next to the shop floor so you can’t totally switch off, but it’s a great offer to take them up on if you’re in the market for some La Mer as it’s a great opportunity to work out which products will sit well with your skin. My skin looked glowing and luxuriously expensive all day and evening long!

You mentioned another facial place (Knightsbridge Nail & Beauty) that you loved on Snapchat…what happened to it? Do you not like it anymore?

I still like it but they raised their prices by 20% which put me off going back! Lucia is an amazing facialist though!

Hey, thanks for the recommendations 🙂

I just booked the Omorovicza one due to your high praise. Only think to note is the price is now £85.

Wow can’t believe they’ve gone up – I get so annoyed when facials go up in price, let me know your thoughts!
