MAC Midimauve
If you saw this post you’ll know that I received two new MAC lipsticks for Chrismtas – Plumful and Midimauve. Well here they are in action…
Plumful is from the Lustre family so it has a lovely sheen to it. The shade is a pink toned berry which comes up incredibly sheer and pretty once on. I like to pair it with MAC Soar lipliner around the edge for extra definition. I adore this shade and it’s fast become my go-to daily colour. My old nudes look a little boring in comparison and I love how it makes my skin tone pop. It’s also the only lipstick ever that my husband has complemented me on. The wear time is good – not amazing, it’s not matt afterall so what can one expect? However reapplication is easy and if you’re going sans liner, it’s easily done sans mirror.
Midimauve – inspired by Kim Kardashian’s Givenchy show look is the most gorgeous brown toned nude that works beautifully with black but equally as well with colour. Again it has a lustre finish which makes looks incredibly glossy and polished. I love pairing this with a smokey eye or simply a flick of black liner.

I just bought Plumful and can’t wait to try it out, looks lovely on you. My favourite has to be Russian Red though, can’t beat a red lip 🙂 xx
