Why Reformation Rocks

It’s fair to say that 90% of my birthday presents this year consisted of Reformation items. I’d long been a fan of the brand and when my mum asked for present ideas she not only placed an order for me but one for herself as well! Reformation is cool girl chic. That’s the best way of summing it up, it’s 1 part grunge, 1 part Jane Birkin and a whole lot of understated sexiness. In fact it was after browsing the website for hours that I decided to chop my ribcage skimming locks into a more Birkin esque sleek mid length look. All of the models on the site just look like the kind of girls you’d want to hang out with.

Expect to see many more reformation style posts, but the first item I had to show you was this Janis top that I actually wore on my birthday itself for dinner. It is low cut so is maybe one for the less well endowed girls and the colour is dusty peachy rose – one of my all time favourite hues (see my wedding flowers for proof). The top is made from surplus rayon and has kimono sleeves and a nipped in waist – an incredibly flattering silhouette. For a nice lunch in the Spring or cocktails I’d wear this with simple Topshop Leigh jeans, Stuart Weitzman boots, my Saint Laurent Sac De Jour and another of my birthday presents – these tortoiseshell Celine sunglasses which I’m obsessed with.

Will you be making any Reformation orders anytime soon?

This is such a lovely outfit! I really like their dresses, I’m browsing the website now and this could get dangerous.
