Adding Colour Back

For so long I’ve let my wardrobe be 90% neutrals and I’ve avoided colour. However when my mum kindly gave me this beautiful Tanya Taylor dress, available on sale for 50% off here which she bought from The Outnet I was over excited to delve into colour and prints.

I’ve worn it twice now, once for dinner with Tom Ford and again last week for a business dinner at Scott’s in Mayfair. We dined on crab, squid and halibut and the dress felt glamorous and struck the right note of playful but with a serious edge. I paired it with my trusty Saint Laurent Sac De Jour – a bag I love so much that I can’t understand why people still buy Birkins – it’s much younger and chicer in my opinion.

I’m all over the embroidery and velvet trends for Autumn as well so expect to see lots of pops of colour and texture coming your way soon!
