So this weekend I turned 22, I started celebrating early on Friday 25th with lunch and shopping with my mum!

We went to Le Petite Maison, one of our favourite restaurants and gorged ourselves on beef carpaccio, deep fried courgette, lamb cutlets, mixed salad, calamari, prawns, fries and green beans (wow that was a LOT!). After which we attempted to shop (not so easy on a very full tummy) and we bought a stunning pair of Louboutin’s for my birthday present and a few pieces from Victoria’s Secret (my first time in the Bond St store- very impressed!). We then had some tea (well my mum did, I sipped fizzy water- still full!) and said our goodbyes as I went to pick my boyfriend up from work and go home for a quiet evening.

On the Saturday I woke up incredibly early and opened more presents. To my utter surprise my boyfriend has bought me the most stunning CHANEL handbag I’ve ever seen-
We soon got dressed and headed out to Sadler’s Wells to see Matthew Bourne’s ballet production of Sleeping Beauty with my mother, baby brother and sister. It was the last day of a six week run and it was breath taking- the gothic romance sees Aurora awake in 2013 and was a delight of colours, music and spectacular ballet.
After the ballet we headed to the Delaunay in Aldwych for an early supper/afternoon tea to meet up with the rest of our large family. After tinner (tea/dinner) we headed home to change for our evening celebrations. I didn’t have much time- sadly not even enough to put on my new Millie Mackintosh ‘Belgravia’ lashes, so I quickly put on my party outfit, a red Herve Leger dress, Louboutins, YSL clutch and Burberry coat and tonged my hair in record time!

The evening was wonderful and I spent it dancing with my closest friends and family. I couldn’t have asked for a more special birthday!
