For a weekend of visiting my family home I hurriedly packed my makeup bag on Friday afternoon – running late, which for me is unusual. I ended up with an ok makeup bag filled with my usual favourites, however this weekend I’ve shunned them all in favour of just one product. I’ve loved La Roche Posay Anthelios xl tinted SPF 50 for a while now, and yesterday as the sun was out in full force I couldn’t bare a face full of makeup, I also did’t want to have to deal with blush/eyebrows/eye makeup or anything else. A little bit of this all over and I was left with a natural and dewy complexion that was totally protected from the sun. Even though today is meant to be a little rainier I will still be opting out of my usual makeup in favour of the Anthelios – the easy breezy application makes it so useful and I love that I am 100% protected. What’s your “one product face” product?
My one product face this summer has been the Guerlain’s Lingerie de peau BB beauty booster. It’s a tinted cream with great coverage, light weight, and SPF 30. My skin feels hydrated, radiant and protected from the sun. I ADORE it.
I wear SPF every day, but I always use it over my moisturiser (I use La Mer the SPF 30 over La Mer the Moisturising lotion). If I’m heavy duty sunning I’ll use the LaRoche Posay antihelios factor 50 that I buy primarily for my kids! I consider it part of my skincare.
My one product face in terms of makeup would be a lipstick/gloss/tinted balm. My complexion is good and doesn’t necessarily need coverage, but my skintone can be sallow without any colour!
Most tinted SPF’s don’t come in a colour that suits me.
